So Republican GOP Senate candidate Tom Campbell announced his support for Senator Dianne Feinstein's water amendment in the Jobs Bill, indicating that unemployment is at historically high levels in California's Central Valley.
We don't need another Stimulus Plan -- re-named a "jobs bill" -- to identify the true cause of the Central Valley's unemployment -- the prohibition of pumping because of the Delta smelt! The fact that water has been cut off from California's agricultural community is a significant reason why the Central Valley has high-unemployment.
Start those pumps. Allow farmers to water their crops and farm...we don't need big-government intervention and another "stimulus." We need common sense!
